[A product of the frustration of not getting enough tabletop RPG sessions. I’ve tried to write it so everyone can understand.]
Akiyama Kiju is an avid tabletop RPG fan in the real world.
After playing through all kinds of bizarre scenarios, he decided life was boring and prepared to retire from the hobby and enjoy his golden years.
Then a full-dive scenario boasting "Unbelievable realism! A gigantic map! Sandbox storylines! Gorgeous NPCs!" caught his eye.
And then he transmigrated.
...Into the player character sheet he had just rolled, with ridiculously high fate stats.
Akiyama Kiju: Help!
As a doctor, it’s perfectly reasonable to be good at solving mysteries, right?
[Author’s ramblings]
1. I started writing this in a fit of late-night enthusiasm. I’m terrible at writing blurbs, and the story is half made up and half decided by the dice maiden. It mostly follows the Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition rulebook, with some house rules and my own take on Cthulhu. I don’t change the dice results except in nonessential sessions.
2. The protagonist’s character sheet lists him as a doctor. His alignment is Chaotic Good, and he has the flexible morals and overwhelming curiosity common to investigators.
3. Most of the scenarios are original and heavily intertwined with the main plot. The goal is to shatter everyone’s worldview (not really).
Theme: Never give up
Looks good! I feel that the plot is a little bit familiar, so I secretly asked, is it a reference to Chang An Zhi Xiang? Looking forward to the follow-up plot!
Such a high destiny... The investigators who work on daily plane crashes are really envious of TT
