[Court Intrigue] The World

When they first met, Ping Weiyue was the emperor's attendant, a thorn in the side of every minister, while Zhu Sixuan was merely a palace candidate.

Later, Ping Weiyue became the power behind the throne, ruling the court from the shadows, while Zhu Sixuan became the most favored Noble Consort in the imperial harem.

"Surely Your Highness the Noble Consort doesn't want to be remembered in the history books as the favorite who led the emperor to drink and debauchery, allowing treacherous ministers to seize power?"

"One charge is already enough to have me torn to shreds. I have no wish to add another to the list."

Zhu Sixuan smiled as she gently turned down Ping Weiyue, yet she still couldn't help keeping an eye on her.

How easy could it be for a woman to become emperor?

"Why are you so stubborn?"

Ping Weiyue turned her head, a smile on her lips and a sharp glint in her eyes.

"Because the world ought to belong to women."
