During a battle, Ying Zhifu was ambushed and bitten by a primordial ferocious beast. From then on, he was afflicted with primordial poison and fell into a deep sleep.
When he awoke, he found himself in a wondrous future era. Humanity had entered the universe and traveled between star systems.
He thought he would do as he had before: seal away his power and the primordial poison, live in this era for a few decades, then fall asleep again when the seal weakened and the poison began to spread once more.
But things didn't go as he expected.
A catastrophe capable of destroying humanity had arrived.
One day, a huge gate suddenly appeared in the universe. Countless Calamity Demons poured out of it, devouring planets and corrupting humans, driving them mad.
Just as everyone was exhausted and despairing, Ying Zhifu appeared in a gray robe. The chains on his left hand shattered link by link. He let the poison spread into his golden eyes and pointed his spear at the source of the Calamity Demons.
