Who would want to fall in love in a horror comic?
Not you, that's for sure.
You can't stand the boy who keeps secretly watching you, biting nails as he carefully reaches out from behind you, trying to touch you.
You also can't accept the sight of the vicious, capricious woman lying dismembered at your feet after her admirer hacked her to pieces, those terrifying remains still using their scarlet lips to scream your name.
And you certainly can't agree to have a boyfriend who's like a ghost to you, appearing only at crossroads in the thick fog.
You can't stand any of it.
So, face gone pale, you slap away the hand reaching for you.
That's why you absolutely, positively... will never fall in love with them.

Before reading:
1. Everyone has unrequited feelings for the protagonist. The entire story is told in second person. If that's not for you, please steer clear.
2. The female protagonist is completely ordinary, with no special abilities.
I came up with an idea set in an Ito Junji world and want to write it, so I'm putting it here for now. (More to come.)
