[I'm back! Trying out all kinds of styles]
A sweet no-CP story with Batkids (and more than just the Batkids). See the character cards for the supporting cast (Who has this many supporting characters? Oh, it's our DC universe!)
Great, more food to enjoy! (Nom nom nom)
This is a sweet little story about Alfred.
After going through countless hardships as the protagonist of a classic trope, Id finally escaped the laboratory and made it to Gotham. He carried seventy-two bloodlines within him. When he was mugged in Gotham, he successfully awakened the black-hair-and-blue-eyes trait, then got snatched up by a gigantic, wandering Lady Gugu Bird.
The Lady Gugu Bird looked at the child, whose black hair and blue eyes made him 80% resemble her old flame, Brucey-baby, and her CPU started spinning like crazy.
Seriously, she already had enough children. (Points to the parallel universes.) The place next door to the place next door to the place next door to the place next door was already packed. She'd had enough of the punishment for working alone.
She looked at the child...

She still had to abduct him!
Then the Lady Gugu Bird spoke in an unbelievably hoarse voice: "Child, are... are you hungry?"
Id replied coolly, "I'm not hungry."
Bat: ?
Why isn't this going like the stories I read?
Doesn't this trick work every time?
Batman applied what he'd learned and tried again. "Then are you thirsty?"
Id: "I'm not thirsty."
…
Batman called for emergency backup.
Alfred, help!!
Alfred spoke in an exceptionally British manner: "Master Bruce, you can't keep relying on your old butler just because you're socially awkward. According to the Batfamily's ranking for who talks the most, you've won the championship seven times in a row."
Alfred sent out a disapproving wave of light. "From the bottom! That's an excellent result, worthy of praise."
:
Fine.
I'm dying. The Lady Gugu Bird always abducts people by kidnapping them! Batman gave a sinister smile, pulled out his grappling hook, and directly snatched Id away.
Id put up a question mark.
The people of Gotham looked up and couldn't help exclaiming, "Batman is eating a kid again!"
Watching for a long time, the over-two-hundred-pound Red Hood said, "No way! This kind of story is outdated, old man!"
Then he threw a vibranium Batarang, cut the grappling-hook cable, and fought Batman for the kid (crossed out).
Id stared blankly at the vibranium Batarang in his hands, with no idea how things had ended up this way. Suddenly, he felt a powerful vibration. A flash of white light instantly enveloped all three of them.
Batman and Red Hood stopped fighting and looked around.
They found a lantern.
Id immediately took a liking to it and couldn't help picking it up and giving it a shake.
The grime rubbed away, revealing a ghastly pale face.
Red Hood put up a question mark.
Id's eyes sparkled as he exclaimed in delight, "Whoa! I love this! It's exactly my aesthetic!" He hugged the lantern and turned around, radiating happy sparkles.
"This is the best day of my life!"
Batman, like a subway commuter, stared at his phone.
Red Hood, like a subway commuter, stared at his phone.
Red Hood said this was the first time his own dark joke had ever backfired on him.
Just then, Red Hood suddenly noticed something...
Wait a minute???
Who drew this cover!
Who the hell drew me, the great Red Hood, as a basketball!!
The author says: Why can't I draw a basketball? What's wrong with basketball?
Looks away.
Feeling extremely guilty...
Theme: Even the toughest times will pass. Let me lie down and sleep for a bit.
