I Won’t Be the Princess Consort of Prince Yan

I refuse to be the Princess Consort of Prince Yan!

If I absolutely have to, I'll run away from the wedding!

After accidentally overhearing the engagement, Zhao Xiren makes his decision without hesitation: he's out of there.

Once outside the palace, he doesn't even dare step into his own residence, though he's usually as bold as brass.

He enters the martial world and remains a fine hero, carefree as an immortal and a maverick among the jianghu. People call him "Idle Prince Ye."

With a blade of grass between his lips, wherever there's a commotion, he's sure to be there.

If there's anyone Zhao Xiren hates most, it's none other than Prince Yan.

His residence is full of lovely women, and quite a few of them are his admirers. But once they're in the great hall, they turn mute.

Zhao Xiren thinks he and a certain someone are bound by ill fate.

He runs out of money and thinks he's found a wealthy patron to mooch off and forget his troubles.

But it turns out to be an inescapable entanglement.

So be it. People of the jianghu believe in cutting through a mess with a swift stroke.

Good. He can settle old and new scores all at once.

Why is he the one "living in fear and wasting his time" out there, while the other guy gets to sit back at ease?

Zhao Xiren's eyes light up. A young master never takes a loss. He'll make a scene and force the other man to call off the engagement himself.

Theme: The jianghu is full of turmoil, and even a boat may be swept away.
