His childhood friend, a dark-skinned athlete, climbed into his bed. His tall, solid body pressed down on him as he gritted his teeth with a humorless smile. "Did you go drinking with that little green tea?"

Even his impoverished roommate, whom he'd thought was so mild-mannered as to be a little cowardly, was intimidating when he turned cold. "What are all of you supposed to be? I'm the only dog he's ever acknowledged."

Lang Yuexian: "..." Could you all stop causing trouble?

Everyone was entertaining impossible fantasies, secretly praying that Lang Yuexian's gaze would linger on them for just one more second.

They tried to hide their unspeakably dark thoughts, even as they grew impatient and greedy, hating one another and wanting to hide that treasure away in a dragon's hoard that belonged to them alone.
