The Amnesiac Beta Says We're Not Right for Each Other

Ji Mingyu is a Beta. A car accident left him with no memories of the first 26 years of his life.

His friends tell him that he recently graduated from university and is now a middle school teacher.

Ji Mingyu stops dwelling on the past. Once he recovers, he settles into a peaceful, stable life.

Until one day.

A strange Alpha suddenly appears at his doorstep. The man's features are striking and handsome, but the gland at the back of his neck is bleeding.

Ji Mingyu rescues the stranger, but after his injuries stabilize, the man doesn't suggest leaving. Instead, he seems intent on staying at Ji Mingyu's home for the long term.

When Ji Mingyu goes to work, the man comes to pick him up.

When he buys groceries, the man carries his basket.

When he goes to bed, the man climbs in early to warm it for him...

Ji Mingyu has lost his memory, not his mind. He knows the Alpha's feelings for him aren't simple, so he reminds him, "I'm just a Beta. We're not right for each other."

A possessive smile suddenly appears on the Alpha's face. "You always say that."

Clearly, the warning doesn't work.

In the days that follow, the Alpha still doesn't leave. Ji Mingyu thinks the man is wonderful in every way apart from being an Alpha. He makes Ji Mingyu's favorite yam porridge, does the housework, and warms his bed... It's just that lately, he loves kissing and nibbling the back of Ji Mingyu's neck when they're in bed, and won't let any other Betas or Alphas contact him privately.

Ji Mingyu gets angry. "Move out tomorrow."

The powerful Alpha panics, his eyes wavering. "Don't kick me out... I'll change everything."

And that's how Ji Mingyu ends up with an S-rank Alpha. Before he has a chance to think about the future, one day at the school gate, an adorable little ball of sticky rice comes running toward them.

"Daddy!"

Ji Mingyu turns to the Alpha beside him in shock. "Your son?"

The next moment, the little one wraps his arms around Ji Mingyu's leg.

The little ball of sticky rice: "Daddy, I missed you so much!"
