In the late Ming Dynasty, in the sixth year of the Tianqi reign, a horrifying incident shook the martial world.
The Heart Sword Sect, founded a century earlier by Grandmaster Wang Yangming, had flourished for years, only to be wiped out overnight.
Only two members of the sect survived: Wang Xingzhi, known as "Number One Under Heaven," and Li Qingshan, their simple-minded junior apprentice.
At the time of the incident, both were far from home. Wang Xingzhi was busy eliminating traitors and punishing evildoers in the northwest, while Li Qingshan was traveling around to deliver letters as instructed by their master.
Afterward, Li Qingshan is destitute when he meets He Chaomu, a wealthy young woman. He Chaomu is a devoted fan of Wang Xingzhi who has run away from home just to see him once. Later, it's revealed that this was only an excuse: she just wanted to travel around and find a direction for herself.
In search of Wang Xingzhi, Li Qingshan and He Chaomu set out together. But just after leaving the beginner village, they run into an enemy. Li Qingshan's blood surges, and he charges forward with his sword. With a "splat," the enemy stabs him unconscious. When he wakes, he discovers that he has been poisoned.
On the advice of an expert from the Beggars' Sect, Li Qingshan and He Chaomu go to Mount Huang to seek a famous doctor. From then on, Li Qingshan's luck takes a turn for the better. Not only is he cured, he unexpectedly gains peerless inner strength. More importantly, his relationship with He Chaomu heats up at lightning speed.
After reuniting with their senior apprentice, the group upholds justice in the martial world while heading to Liaodong, pacifying Pi Island, and defending the capital. They leave traces in the long river of history, but no record of them remains.
Reader's Guide:

2. Primarily a martial-world tale, interwoven with a small number of real historical figures and events.
3. Li Qingshan and He Chaomu end up together and get married at the end of the story.
Theme: Live the way you want to
The eldest brother is like a brother and a father, but he is not immature, he is honest, upright, naughty, and full of charming personality!
The last 3 chapters were so tear-jerking!
I originally thought that in the end the male protagonist would improve his martial arts to a higher level and surpass the senior brother and then kill demons with his hands. In the end, it was the senior brother who sacrificed himself in exchange for peace in the world. The senior brother is the real male protagonist!!
The love brain finally committed suicide for itself, which is pitiful and deplorable...
I always feel that this woman is up to something bad, and she is hopelessly in love.
Didn't Lu and Bai meet their senior brother in Laizhou? Why are they now unsure whether his senior brother is alive or dead?
Is there a chapter missing that can't be continued?
Dad, I am from Xinyang. The geographical location of Xinyang is very difficult for heavy snowfall [covering face and laughing and crying] [covering face and laughing and crying]
Did you delete the original first chapter? I shouldn't say it. When I read it before, I felt that the first chapter was very innovative. Basically, it was because of the legend in the first chapter 😏😏😏
I really like this kind of traditional martial arts novel. It's really rare to come across it. The more I read it, the more I like it.
