The Director Is a Little Strange

[Synopsis]

I joined the marketing department of a publicly listed company.

Our director took the interns out to business dinners one by one.

When it was my turn to accompany him, the director personally drove me home afterward.

I thought all employees got that kind of treatment, until a coworker told me that after she went to a business dinner with the director yesterday, she waited nearly an hour for a taxi.

I was about to ask her about it when the boss's daughter, the company's young heiress and the director's rumored girlfriend, appeared right behind my coworker.

I quickly covered my mouth and swallowed the question I was about to ask.
