Quick guide:
A mischievous, flirtatious female Pixiu spirit (sharp-tongued but adorably clueless) x a chaste, old-fashioned male demon hunter (serious but easily embarrassed)
The man is strong, but the woman is stronger. Includes an identity-reveal plotline. Short episodes woven into the main story.
A little scene:
According to rumors among the demons, a Pixiu spirit had long lived on Kuiwang Mountain. All the demons respectfully called her “Lord Xiuzhu.” She was aloof and indifferent to worldly affairs, and her cultivation had reached the pinnacle.
But in the eyes of the demon hunter Shang Ze, Lord Xiuzhu was greedy for food and sleep, and loved wealth and beauty. She was not only mischievous by nature, but sharp-tongued, too.
In a chaotic age when humans and demons slaughtered one another, Xiuzhu was entrusted with leaving the mountain to seek justice for the demon clan.
Yet from the very day she met Shang Ze, she resolved to pursue that deliciously handsome face of his relentlessly.
She even stayed by his side to help him hunt demons for a paltry stipend, often teasing him until his face turned red with embarrassment.
But one day Shang Ze asked her, “Why is your face red?”
Demon hunters must remain pure of heart and free of romantic entanglements.
For decades, Shang Ze had upheld his sect's rules, vanquishing demons and defending the righteous. Calm and collected, he was worthy of carrying on his master's legacy.
Yet one time, when he saw Xiuzhu getting a little too close to a handsome man, he pinned her in his arms and seized her chin.
“Am I not handsome enough, or does Lord Xiuzhu want to taste something different?”
Before Xiuzhu's identity was revealed, Shang Ze said solemnly, “A demon is a demon. Subduing demons is my duty.”
After it was revealed, Xiuzhu looped her arms around Shang Ze's neck, smiling. “Didn't you say you were going to kill me? What is it, can't you bring yourself to do it?”
Message: Love, responsibility, and equality.
Bao, I suggest you add the suspicion of the male protagonist when editing the article, because if you don't add it, it will feel like the male protagonist is stupid and sweet [changed]. Or if you add it, I didn't see it [question mark]
Baby, I'm a little confused as to why the male protagonist can't see that the female protagonist is a monster? And when they first met, they didn't suspect that she was a demon. The male protagonist was too innocent! [Question mark]
