The Young Lady and Spicy Curry

The "heinous" heiress and the natural-born airhead with a dark side

As Fukuzawa Yukichi's prized disciple, Kasuga Ruri had been by his side since childhood. At fifteen, she fell in love at first sight with the red-haired man who saved her from a gang of thugs.

Thinking she had nowhere to go, the man took her in. She lived upstairs from a curry shop and, along with the other children, called him Sakunosuke.

But there were too many useless people in charge of her family, forcing her to return and inherit the family business. Fortunately, they didn't keep too close an eye on her, so she could go see Oda Sakunosuke whenever she wanted.

She also met a man named Dazai Osamu. The two would bicker whenever they met, because they both wanted to find out who mattered more to Oda Sakunosuke.

Then, while eating cake with Edogawa Ranpo, she heard the man tell Oda Sakunosuke that he was going to die soon.

So she set out to steal him away. After saving those children, she sent Oda Sakunosuke over to the Armed Detective Agency, only to get Dazai Osamu as a free extra.

She had lost count of how many times she'd confessed, but Oda Sakunosuke still rejected her, saying he was too old for her.

Kasuga Ruri pouted in frustration and left. Later, for work-related reasons, she spread the news that she was going to marry Atobe Keigo. In the backstage area at the engagement party, Oda Sakunosuke hurried over and pulled her aside.

Watching the cowlick bobbing on the man's head, she tilted her own head in confusion. "What are you doing here, Sakunosuke?"

Oda Sakunosuke showed little emotion, wearing the same cool expression as always. He answered seriously, "I'm here to crash the wedding."

Kasuga Ruri: ??? Didn't Dazai and Ranpo tell you it was fake?!

And how can you say that with such a straight face?!
