[This is an early work with terrible writing, an embarrassing relic I'm posting here just to preserve it. New work: older, wealthy second-generation doctor top x frail original character artist bottom. Please check it out and add it to your collection in my profile, I beg you!]
Tang Wanli, head of Wanli Real Estate, which controls half the property market in southern China, has two sons. His eldest, Tang Shanhai, founded Tang Investment, whose business is thriving. His second son, Tang Wanxing, was twenty years younger than his elder brother, exceptionally gifted, and entered a secret state agency in his teens.
However, just before Wanxing came of age, he died suddenly, leaving his elderly father with only an unborn grandchild.
More than a decade passed. The boy, named Tang Ye, was old enough to attend middle school, and he met his cousin Tang Tian, son of Tang Shanhai, as well as the He brothers, He Jianan and He Bowen.
Who exactly is Tang Ye? What mission does he bear? What stories will unfold between him, his cousin, and his friends? And what really happened to his biological father, Tang Wanxing, all those years ago? Who is his biological mother?
[Note]

[Content warnings]
The protagonist is a middle school student.
An old-fashioned novel with a tragic ending! A tragic ending! A tragic ending!
The classmates of the same age really are just classmates, and the older brother really is just an older brother. No romance.
I just wanted to write a tragedy about a gifted boy who can't find fulfillment in his family of origin.
Written to indulge the humble author's tastes, despite her less-than-brilliant intelligence.
Theme: Care for young people and create families that understand one another.
