I Ascended the Throne in a World of Ghosts

[A fictional Tang-inspired setting, strange tales and legends]

In the seventh year of the Longyuan era, a shocking upheaval rocked the capital. Princess Le'an Ji Ying made an outstanding contribution to putting down the rebellion.

She ascended the throne.

Her father, now the Retired Emperor, looked livid.

.

Demons run rampant in this world, and strange occurrences are commonplace.

The pampered little princess raised deep in the palace falls from her horse and dies. Her soul remains in the mortal realm, where she learns that the affection she received in life had another purpose, and that endless secrets lie beyond the Forbidden Palace.

As a ghost, she embarks on the path of cultivation, bonds with a divine artifact, commands demons and ghosts, and attracts powerful practitioners willing to lay down their lives for her.

After her death, Ji Ying turns the capital upside down.

Some love and respect her, while others hate her to the bone.

Until one day, unorthodox demons surround the capital, and everyone is left at their mercy.

Only one figure stands before them all, protecting an entire city with her own strength.

No one dares object anymore.

"Your Highness, please ascend the throne!"

.

On the day the little princess born with the destiny of a true dragon fell from her horse and died, who knows how many people secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Who could have imagined that she would return from death one day and ascend to the highest throne?
