Chen Xi and Lin Qi's chance meeting at a bar sets off a remarkable romance. Under the dim, romantic lights, the two play a finger-catching game. Their accidental touches and deep, lingering gazes quietly plant the seeds of love.
During a business trip, Chen Xi suddenly comes down with a high fever. Lin Qi is frantic with worry. When Chen Xi wakes up and sees Lin Qi looking exhausted but concerned, love begins to spread through his heart. As their feelings quickly grow, they make sweet memories in every corner of the city.
But fate has other plans. They unexpectedly reunite with their partners from their previous lives, Zhao Yu and Lin Yue, and realize that they have all been reborn with memories of their past lives. In their previous lives, Chen Xi and Lin Qi regretfully parted because of the distance between them and their jobs, while Zhao Yu and Lin Yue were each left with emotional wounds.
After being reborn, their lives take a different course, and Lin Yue and Zhao Yu end up together. But what will become of Chen Xi and Lin Qi?
