A lighthearted, everyday, nontraditional Western fantasy adventure with plenty of original worldbuilding. The early chapters focus on the plot. A fun, casual story written by a beginner for practice.

The protagonist plays dumb to catch his enemies off guard early on.
The love interest is a little dog dragon. He doesn't get much page time early on, but he's full of energy.
