But I Only Like You

Luo Shiyi and Jian Yu have been childhood friends for as long as they can remember.

Their families are close, and their friendship has only brought them closer.

As an alpha, Jian Xiaoyu has looked after Luo Xiaoyi, an omega two months younger than him, since they were little.

Luo Xiaoyi has always depended on Jian Xiaoyu, too.

Luo Shiyi x Jian Yu

A lively, adorable, beautiful jasmine flower x a cool, gentle pomelo

, ,

Luo Xiaoyi is very beautiful, even more delicate than girls his age. Ever since everyone around him started growing up, all kinds of gifts have appeared on his desk every day, along with piles of handwritten letters, mostly confessing their love for him. He returns every single one and politely turns them down, saying that he already likes someone.

Ever since they were children, as the two spent time together, he had somehow... gradually fallen in love with his childhood friend... Jian Yu, the “big brother” he always called him!!! And after starting high school, those feelings only grew stronger and stronger?!

, ,

Jian Yu is just as popular as Luo Shiyi, but he's as cold as ice (ー_ー)!! Many omegas and betas have admired him for a long time but don't dare confess, since he is distant with everyone except his family, friends, and Luo Shiyi. Jian Yu never accepts gifts from strangers!!!

Even when omegas and betas confess to him, he only turns them down coldly. If anyone asks, he still gives a polite but distant answer... [But Jian Xiaoyu has liked Luo Xiaoyi since they were little. He loves Luo Xiaoyi, loves the scent of jasmine on him, and loves how beautiful and delicate he is.]

“Shiyi, did you know?”

“Know what...”

He hopped down the last step and looked up at Jian Yu.

Jian Yu was still standing where he was, looking down at Luo Shiyi with a faint smile in his eyes.

“Did you believe that rumor, too? But you’re the one I love. That little omega I made up was you, too. Every lie was tailor-made for you. Whether it’s the past, the future, or right now, I’ll keep loving you, always and forever. There’s no room in my eyes for anyone else, Luo Shiyi. They’ve been taken over by a beautiful jasmine flower.”

“But I like you. I only like you.”

“I wish I could become the sky and blanket the world, then turn into the wind and sweep away all restraints. That way, you, my little bird, could be free and unfettered.”

“I’ll overcome every obstacle and do whatever it takes, just so... I can catch up to you.

I’ll love you forever and ever, and I’ll always be on your side.”

“Do you know what that fiercely blooming rose resembles?”

“You, surrounded by excellence.”

“And you, surrounded by my excellence.”

My darling babies, I’m writing this for fun. I’m still in school, so updates will be slow. Don’t rush. I know you’re in a hurry, but don’t rush just yet. I’ll do my best to finish next year.
