[BEAST Reverse-Order Watchalong] 404 Not Found

The characters in the main world watch an alternate-timeline story in reverse order, and some of the scenes they watch will be edited. The main story takes place after the Season Three finale celebration. Although the viewing order is reversed, the alternate-timeline Mori Ougai scene with additional writing is still placed last as a movie post-credit scene. I didn't forget about it.

All Dazai is the underlying premise, but there are no explicit romantic interactions between ships. You can also read it as a Dazai-centered gen story. Chapter Four contains a little teasing about Atsushi and Kyoka, so beware if that's not your thing.

The first version was completed in September 2021. I've now revised and reposted the entire story as an archive. Some details and transitions have been adjusted slightly, but the plot direction hasn't changed. When I first wrote it, "Picking Up Dazai" hadn't come out yet. Maybe there'll be a second movie-watching story for "Picking Up Dazai" in the future. I'll leave that idea here for now.

Please don't bash any characters in the comments. If the story makes you uncomfortable, please leave.

Theme: Dazai deserves to be loved in every world.
