Her voice was a soft hiss, like a viper's tongue, deliberately made gentle enough to make Sander's faceplate heat up. The endearment she tacked on left her flustered, while the rattlesnake's tail continued to shake harmlessly. Honeyed words always worked.

“Will this be a good deal, Wasp? You should know the weight a promise carries.”

A Decepticon who cozied up to Autobots was clearly even less trustworthy, but Bumblebee couldn't worry about that now. Playing on the other's feelings had worked better than he expected, and after a moment's hesitation, she agreed.

“Let's see how well you keep that ridiculous agreement of yours.”

“What are you talking about, former Autobot?”

Lockdown chose to say nothing. He wasn't particularly keen on seeing a rampaging Dinobot destroy his ship.
