Shameless, tsundere beauty bottom & gentle, black-hearted younger top
(The unlucky prince of the Northern Kingdom & the Southern Dynasty's champion general)
Seated high on his horse, Xie Ying gazes into the distance. A vast flock of black crows sweeps across the blood-red sky, the scene so gruesome and eerie that it seems beyond the human world.
In a daze, he thinks he sees their past: the family and friends they once had, and... the one he loved.
They are laughing, playing, running.
He opens his mouth wide, but cannot utter a word. The wind, laden with sand, blows every word back down his throat, and he swallows them with his tears.
