Note: This is a warm ensemble story, with no harem infighting and very little court intrigue. Its purpose is to give the young women of Dream of the Red Chamber a world where they can grow up freely.
No original characters will be vilified, and Baoyu and Daiyu will not be separated.
Couples: Jia Zheng and Lady Wang; Lin Daiyu and Jia Baoyu. Tanchun, Baochai, Xiangyun, Wang Xifeng, and the other young women will have no romantic pairings.
Jia Zheng: His personality will stay as close as possible to the original: upright, principled, and responsible, but with a little more humor and ease. He will always be his children's strongest supporter. Lady Wang is the male lead's official partner and his only romantic pairing.
The young women's personalities will also stay as close as possible to the original. Their circumstances will bring about some changes, though, and as they gradually grow, their individual flaws will fade.
