Dazai Osamu Plays Volleyball? Seriously?

Dazai Osamu, cosplaying as a Mafia executive, is thrown by a book into a world without Dazai Osamu and forced to follow the plot. Who could have guessed that, as a good young man raised in a new world, avoiding out-of-character moments would be so difficult!

Just as Dazai Osamu finally finishes the plot and prepares for a perfect retirement, he is pulled into another world and becomes a first-year student at Yokohama Port High School.

He thinks he can relax and be a high school student who heads straight home after class, but the volleyball team's captain insists he join them, even saying he'd gladly give up his captaincy for him.

Dazai Osamu: You mean I have to use my old arms and legs, which add up to nearly seventy years of wear and tear across three lifetimes, to compete with a bunch of teenage boys for the Spring High championship?

A dark horse has emerged from Kanagawa. Port High School, which has long been knocked out in the first round, suddenly produces a first-year genius setter who wins the school's place as Kanagawa's representative. He is hailed as "Port's Worrywart."

Rumor has it that this setter has Mafia connections. Even the volleyball team's captain and upperclassmen obey his every word, earning him the title "the captain of the captain."

One student claims that a second-year senior on the team was beaten so badly for disobeying the setter that he could barely move.

Another student from an opposing school claims to have heard the setter tell his own teammates, "If you can't receive my serve, I'll have you sunk in Yokohama Bay."

The ultimate crack ship (guiltily averting my eyes).
