After the Female General Is Defeated and Captured

Zhong Li had practiced martial arts since childhood. Brave and battle-hardened, she became a celebrated female general at a young age. But after being defeated and captured, she fell into the hands of the enemy kingdom’s ruthless Third Prince. He violated her, then passed her from one official to another to be abused...

Later, she managed to escape and returned home victorious. The emperor seemed noble and dignified, a ruler for the ages, but, like his ministers, he despised her as a filthy woman who had been used by everyone. He even forced her into his harem, wanting to see just how badly the enemy kingdom had defiled her.

He was a beast, not someone worth spilling blood on the battlefield and swearing her life to!

After leaving behind a farewell letter, Zhong Li rode away from the imperial capital.

Later, war broke out along the frontier again. Wearing an ancient bronze qilin mask and using the name Yun Hen, she recruited troops and resolutely joined the battlefield. This time, she fought for neither fame nor fortune, and pledged loyalty to no one. She fought only for the greater good in her heart, choosing of her own will to defend peace in all four directions.

Her body had been sullied, but her heart was the purest of all, certainly purer than those beasts’.
