The main story is complete. Extra chapters are still to come.
#Bottom-focused, happy ending / pseudo teacher-student relationship / ruler and subject / older top
#A rebellious young emperor who seems innocent but is actually cunning x an abstinent, restrained regent
#Transmigrated from ancient times to the present / age gap / crossing the line against one's superior
My upcoming story is titled "So Let's Fake a Couple With the Idol We Hate." The blurb is at the end. If you're interested, don't forget to add it to your collection!
Main story blurb:
Jing Ze was the last emperor of the Southern Dynasty.
Raised in the deep palace for years, she was ignored by everyone. Timid and weak, Jing Ze had no power to rule the shattered realm, most of which had been ruined by the late emperor. Sitting upon the throne, she found that every order came from the powerful Prince of Yongchuan, whose influence threatened the throne.
Jing Ze thought she could live with that, until Xu Shi'an, the Prince of Yongchuan whom she trusted deeply, led troops to surround the imperial city and entered the palace with a sword, claiming she had come to purge the court of corrupt officials.
When Jing Ze opened her eyes again, she found herself in a completely different world.
People on the streets wore strange clothes and spoke in strange accents.
And the person who had once betrayed her, Xu Shi'an, wore the same clothes as everyone around them, but no longer carried the sword that could cut through iron like mud.
"Y-You plotted rebellion! I should have your entire clan executed!" Jing Ze shouted, trying to sound fierce.
Xu Shi'an froze, then smiled strangely. "Your Majesty, times have changed."
Xu Shi'an had always respected her sovereign, even after betraying her, even a thousand years later.
She knelt formally before Jing Ze, lowering her eyes in a respectful bow. "I ask to help Your Majesty change clothes."
Kneeling at the feet of the ruler she had once served, she took off Jing Ze's pointed, square-toed shoes and removed her dark imperial robes one by one. At last she stood, took off the emperor's crown, and let down her long hair.
She taught the young emperor the language, writing, and rules of conduct from a thousand years in the future, just as she had once stayed by Jing Ze's side as a palace lady-in-waiting.
"Your Majesty, why can't you answer again?"
She picked up a ruler and struck Jing Ze's palm as punishment. Then she presented the ruler with both hands. "I ask Your Majesty to punish me."
"As your teacher, I failed to help Your Majesty fully grasp the lessons. That is my first offense. As your subject, I have overstepped my station and punished Your Majesty. That is my second offense. I beg Your Majesty to forgive me for both."
Reader notes:
1. A seven-year age gap in their physical ages
2. The flavor I love, as always
Upcoming story blurb:
#Older top / aloof beauty / mutual dislike
#An obscure idol with big ambitions x a scheming, vindictive top-tier star
#Difference in status / age gap / two-faced
I don't like that popular idol. She's famous, but when I tried watching her performances, I thought they were nothing special.
Only after I signed with an agency and debuted did I realize how hard it was to achieve what she had.
I started to hate her. I felt like I wasn't any less capable than she was. I just had fewer opportunities. The industry was in a slump, and if I could get onto a bigger stage like she had, I would surely gain more fans. But I couldn't. I'd missed my chance to ride the wave of the times.
As an ordinary person, I could say she wasn't all that great. As an idol myself, all I could do was grit my teeth and admit that she was a senior worthy of admiration.
The more I thought about it, the more I hated her. Every bit of news about her made me feel as if I were being pricked by needles.
Now, at last, I had my chance.
Her contract was about to expire. To squeeze out every last bit of value, her company arranged for her to appear on a variety show beneath her status to drum up publicity. During filming, she smiled warmly and chatted softly with the staff.
It had to be an act. Someone who had become famous as a teenager and been pampered for years couldn't possibly be that nice.
Still, I sat beside her and said in my most excited voice, "Senior, I've been a fan of yours for years."
As a veteran idol, she knew what I was after. I knew she knew I just wanted to use her to generate publicity. But she still smiled warmly and rested a hand on my shoulder, pressing her fingers into my bones where the cameras couldn't see.
"If you want to fake a couple pairing, shouldn't you at least be able to handle physical contact?"
I could only feel disgusted.
"Good morning, Senior."
"Good morning," Yan Yuqing said with a smile. "The cameras aren't on yet."
"Oh." The corners of Luo Musheng's mouth immediately drooped.
"Hehe, I was kidding. The camera's behind you." Still smiling, Yan Yuqing pointed to her neck, signaling for Luo Musheng to pull her collar up a little higher.
Theme: No matter what your circumstances are, keep striving to live.
It looks good, but it's like half of my nose is blocked. My heart is neither smooth nor completely suffocated.
I feel like there is still more to say [holding my chin]
Is it the ending of oe? After all, I still have several guesses.
Does this medicine have a shelf life? Does what she takes really work?
If so, does it take effect the moment you eat it, or is it actually only 1,200 years old? After eating it, it will last as long as Shi'an lived.
If it had been more than a thousand years, would she have met a child who looked like Shian, smart or not so smart? [Hold her chin]
The emotions are very delicate, although the ending is slightly regrettable. But if you think about the characters and experiences of the two protagonists (a thousand-year-old demon and an upright ordinary person), it can only lead to a dull ending.
Kids [dog head], if you want to see any extras, you can leave a message under this comment. The next article should be about having fun with the annoying idol [EYE][EYE]
Their stories flowed away like water
Is this gone? ? ? Alas, it was really disappointing and uninspiring. It took me half a day to read it from the beginning. Although there is some lack of rhythm control, and some parts of the logic are difficult to reconcile. But this is still one of the most impressive novels I have read this year. The relationship between these two people is like mother and daughter, master and apprentice, and partners. It is difficult to give a definition. Let's get together, it's obviously inappropriate. It's a very simple conflict from beginning to end, a conflict of ideas. I thought this conflict would be resolved neatly at the end, but in fact until the end... I don't think one of the parties changed their minds or accommodated the other. In fact, this is more reasonable. After all, except for novels, who would really give up their choice for love. There is no third party, no bloody plot, but they can neither be together well nor leave each other to find someone else. I have thought that maybe for Ozawa, whether it is Xiao Wang or her deskmate, it will be better for her. But she had long realized that she and this man were destined to be entangled for a lifetime. It's good that there is no internal friction. Ozawa seems to have a weak temperament, but basically he can't blame himself if he can blame others. Very worth learning. After reading it all, it's really a bit weird to think about why Ozawa still thinks of □□. [Cheek support]
Does this pair have more hatred, more obsession, or more love?
Sure enough, once Shian gains power, she wants Xiaojing to stay with her forever [dog head]
It feels like I watched another episode of Fire Fist. It's such a cute and adorable work that's suitable for being made into a short drama. [Kiss][kiss][pick your head]
It's so beautiful, there's no one with good works [crying]
