The Little Tyrant's Conquest Manual

[Third-person narration]

The little emperor was sick, seriously ill. My mother said I was the only one who could save him, so she packed me off to the palace.

The little emperor didn't like me. He had a cinnabar mole in his heart, and I thought that was great, because I had a moonlight in mine.

The little emperor was irritable and wanted to kill people every day. That was his illness.

Later, the person he wanted to kill was my moonlight.

My mother said the only way to save my moonlight was to make the little emperor fall for me.

After a long time, the little emperor did fall for me, but...

My moonlight died, and so did the little emperor.

The day he died, rain poured from the sky, washing the blood from his body, but no matter how hard it rained, it could never wash it all away.

With a sword in my hand, I gazed into his eyes, more beautiful than colored glass, and finally shed a single tear.

In the thirty-third year of Tianji, the Heavenly Dao restarted and the world began anew. The immortal sects gathered at Miaoyun Sect.

On the dueling grounds stood a figure of unparalleled grace. The Demon-Slaying Sword came glinting into his hand, ringing with a clear, metallic hum.

He stood proudly, looking down on everyone,

including me.

They said his name was Ye Qingren, the most revered Dao Venerable among the great sects.

But I knew someone else named Ye Qingren, only...

He was the tyrant of the mortal realm.

**

Ye Qingren was the greatest genius the Ye family had seen in a thousand years.

His body held the bones of the Dao, enough to suppress all evil beneath the heavens.

But someone planted evil energy in him and cast him down into the mortal realm to live as a tyrant for one lifetime, intending to destroy his Dao bones.

Someone told him that a woman of the Shen family could quell the evil energy within him, and he believed it.

Someone else said that the Shen family girl was madly in love with him, and he believed that too.

Later, someone told him the woman of the Shen family would be the one to destroy him. He didn't believe it.

But that day, he saw the sword in his chest and saw that she hadn't shed a single tear for him.

Then he believed.

It's a sweet little romance! The male lead mostly just talks himself into things!!!
