[Korean Showbiz] Artistic Muse

Who says only men can have artistic muses? Women can, too.

Kim Riley is a woman with nothing but flaws, except for her face and her talent for painting. For some idols, it takes a lunatic to deal with a villain.

[Breaking] What do you think of the model in Kim Riley's new painting?

Location: Kim Riley's Four Seasons exhibition in central Seoul

- Who's the new guy? I'm drooling just looking at him.

- She can still paint like that... Am I really allowed to see this? I just pay the admission fee and get to admire this incredible work up close?

- Slurp. Half-naked, flushed, all dewy... I really...

- Who's even fawning over this? Aren't the paintings all public figures? This is basically an invasion of privacy.

- Exactly. She's a national treasure of South Korea, a world-recognized, peerless young artist of the modern era. Being painted by her is a blessing. Idols who want it would follow her all the way to France.

- Not just idols, either. Actors and singers are interested too.

- She's really skyrocketed... The last muse must've had incredible connections.

- Why does this guy look so familiar? Is he in a new boy group?

- The new boy group SM is pushing hardest. Some companies really do prefer to keep the good stuff in-house.

- He doesn't look as stunning in real life as he does in the painting. The painting tricked us.

- True. He's mainly just really short. I don't know why Riley picked him.

- Riley's always liked this type, hasn't she? Haven't her muses always been clean-cut long-haired guys?

- You're right, I give up. They really are all like that.

- And they're all under twenty-five, haha.

- Stop, someone's going to get upset.

- Is she still on and off with that person?

- Someone that rich could never settle down. Besides, isn't Riley famous for sleeping around? That person only wants marriage. They're complete opposites.

- Who's spreading rumors again? Riley hasn't touched any of those three things. Sure, she changes boyfriends often and doesn't go to clubs much, but does that make her a player?

- Isn't it normal for artists to like that sort of thing? She hasn't done any of those three things, so I don't know why people keep bringing them up.

- Some people are just mad, lol.

Note: I started writing this because I can't stand certain male artists using the excuse of looking for a muse to cheat on their partners (you know what I mean). If men can do it, so can women artists.

This story involves men competing for a woman, a universally adored protagonist, a male homewrecker, cheating, and explicit content. Readers with high standards for morality or a strong aversion to infidelity should stay away.

Theme: Gender equality.
