Pretty Fake NPC [Infinite]

Wen Huaixu had no idea how it happened. He woke up in an unfamiliar room.

There were burn marks all over the room, and dark, dried clots of blood covered the sheets and bedding. His body was nearly shattered. The slightest exertion would make it go crack, breaking him into little pieces.

He seemed to be dying!

But where was this place?

Who was he?

[Welcome to the Infinite World.]

[The S-rank instance, Hospital, is now open.]

[We look forward to seeing you achieve a great result.]

Wen Huaixu: "?"

This felt vaguely familiar. Had he... been here before?

He lowered his gaze and saw the S-rank item on his wrist: the Illusory-Reality Bandage.

[Illusory-Reality Bandage: Keeps a player's body intact and changes their appearance. Cannot be detected without a special item. No time limit.]

So he wasn't going to die just yet!

Wen Huaixu thought, being a player was exhausting! He'd be better off as an NPC.

As soon as the S-rank Hospital instance opened, countless online viewers noticed a pale, pretty player who was obsessed with pretending to be an NPC.

While everyone else leveled up and fought monsters, he pretended to be an NPC. While everyone else searched for clues, he pretended to be an NPC. As everyone else neared the end, he pretended... He lured the final boss into his hands, and the boss helped him clear the instance.

Basically, it's the story of someone who just wants to slack off and avoid his missions, but keeps ending up in the boss's arms by sheer coincidence, until he has no choice but to turn the tables.

Both leads are big shots. The top is more of a slacker early on.

The top has amnesia at one point, but the bottom doesn't. So one is always confused while the other is deeply in love. In short, it's a sweet romance.

Laid-back slacker top x gloomy, obsessive bottom
