The Hated One Is Still Smoldering / The Hated One Is Fighting Tooth and Nail to Stay Alive / She Can Still Survive!

Yan Wanqiu has loved Bie Qingtang ever since they were both mortals.

When Bie Qingtang needed a Daoist bone, she cut out her own natural Daoist bone and gave it to her.

When Bie Qingtang was in danger, she rushed to shield her first.

When Bie Qingtang stole a treasure from the demon realm, she took the blame for her.

Imprisoned, Yan Wanqiu willingly stayed behind to be cut to pieces.

After everything that happened, everyone knew Yan Wanqiu had become a cripple and was close to death.

At last, Bie Qingtang agreed to bond with her.

But at the bonding ceremony, in full view of everyone, she broke her promise.

Bie Qingtang was cold and heartless. She told Yan Wanqiu, "You have demon blood. Humans and demons belong to different worlds."

Then she turned around and said that her junior sister was the one in her heart.

Yan Wanqiu suddenly didn't want to die anymore.

She would do everything in her power to survive, outlive Bie Qingtang, and last longer than her, even if it meant depending on anyone at all, as long as it kept her alive.

She wanted to see Bie Qingtang lose all her cultivation and suffer unrequited love. She wanted Bie Qingtang to have countless friends and confidants around her, yet no one who truly cared. She wanted Bie Qingtang to remember her kindness every day. She wanted to see Bie Qingtang suffer just as she had. Only then could she die content.

A universally adored, fiercely determined bottom who'll do anything to stay alive and refuses to go down quietly. She's not a good person in the traditional sense. Everyone gets their own groveling redemption arc.
