Echizen Ryoma, fresh from winning the National Tournament, travels to a world where he doesn't exist and Kintaro is the protagonist.
One-line description:
The daily romantic life of the top pairing.
Content warnings (I won't repeat them at the start of every chapter):
AllEchizen, Echizen-centric (romance: Yukimura/Echizen; all other relationships are platonic)
Side couples: Yanagi/Kirihara, Yagyuu/Niou
In this story, Echizen Ryoma is leagues above everyone else in ability.
Rikkai Echizen, Rikkai 16+3
Everyone is a hardworking, passionate young athlete. There are no villains. How could people who love playing tennis be bad? They're just a bunch of slightly chuuni kids.
There is a System (with a very minor presence) and mind-reading.
The romance will progress very, very slowly. If you don't have the patience, you can click away or come back when there's more to read.
Estimated length: Long novel, around 250,000 characters.
Premise:
The story of Echizen Ryoma, fresh from winning the National Tournament, traveling to a parallel world where Kintaro is the protagonist.
There is no Echizen Ryoma in the parallel world. To balance the teams, the rosters at Seigaku, Hyotei, and Shitenhoji will be adjusted.
Tezuka is healthy in this story, and Yukimura will recover from his illness before the National Tournament.
Echizen Ryoma is leagues above everyone else in ability. If you can't stand that, feel free to click away, thanks.
In this story, teammates recognized by Echizen can hear his thoughts.
The timeline is the summer after the National Tournament in Yukimura and Tezuka's second year of middle school. I looked into it: according to the official guidebook, they start school in April, the National Tournament is in late August, Yukimura goes on a school trip in September, and he gets sick in October. Japan has three school terms:
April to July
September to December
January to March
This really gave me a headache, so I finally decided to set the story in September, just after the National Tournament of Yukimura's second-year class, while he's on his school trip.
For example, if Echizen started school in April 2024 and the National Tournament took place in August 2024 in the original story, then this story's timeline would be September 2023, two terms before the original, running from September 2023 to September 2024 over three terms. (Just an example, not actually 2023, though the setting descriptions will draw on the real world. To keep readers from being pulled out of the story, no specific years will be mentioned.)
I'm planning to write through the end of the National Tournament. Who knows when the romance will happen: Ryoma still belongs in pediatrics at this point, okay?
A few thoughts:
I usually write short stories, or stories with only Yukimura and Echizen appearing. This is my first time writing an ensemble cast. I'll do my best to keep everyone in character as they were before the original story's early characterization went off the rails, and to make the logic hold together. Please forgive me if I don't do a good job.
There won't be too much match content. The story will focus on daily interactions.
I'm using the manga as my reference, since I'm a manga reader, so anime-original schools like Jōsei Shōnan probably won't appear.
I'm sensitive, so if you don't like the writing style, the premise, or anything else, for whatever reason, just don't read it. Please don't leave comments. If the author sees one, I'll bring a stool to your doorstep and cry!!!
If you like my writing, please leave lots of likes and comments QAQ. I'm writing this for love, so please say something nice to cheer me up. It feels like I'm playing to an empty room every time, and my heart is breaking.
Theme: Youth, dreams, and striving
Although they are characters in the novel, I still hope that they will be happy for the rest of their lives.
Congratulations on the completion of the text, spread the flowers 💪 [spread the flowers] [like]
On which platform can I watch Da Zuo Hua?
So Echizen didn't realize that Aogakus was wrong? Why did I see it so confusingly?
I never thought it would be a big mistake. I really like this article, okay?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so sweet that it's so sweet. So sweet is the sweetness. Vinegar Village tried his best to get Yue Xiaoqian to get up and be with him.
Ahhhhhhhh, kiss me
Cun Ge likes to go to the theater, and Ryoma is a little worried about the world being in chaos. These two are in perfect harmony.
My evaluation of this chapter is: two young lovers passed by all the regular team members (young couple reserves), and then "lightly" formulated the task of additional training.
Eiji, your little one was kidnapped 🐶
