[Showbiz] The Push and Pull Philosophy of a Siren and a Superstar

Lee Gwan Wol transmigrates to Korea in the 1990s and grows up moving from one film set to another.

She's the child star the whole nation watched grow up, a guarantee of box-office success, a cherished memory of a generation, and the nation's goddess, as lovely as a gardenia.

While other kids were still playing in the sand, she was working hard on film sets. At last, her dream came true: she went from an extra to an international award-winning actress, conquering the entertainment industry!

But then the goddess was exposed as dating GD, the famously rebellious playboy and womanizer.

Smoking in front of reporters, openly talking about his romantic history on TV, singing dirty songs at concerts: GD had been controversial ever since his debut. His unique rebellious philosophy, massive popularity, and widely recognized songwriting talent had also made him a star among stars.

One was from the film world, the other from the music world. Their personalities and public images were so different that no one could have imagined they were a couple. It wasn't until an enraged sasaeng fan exposed them that the public learned the details of their relationship. There were written accounts, photos, and videos, spanning such a long period of time that it was hard to believe.

Fan 1: I can't believe they were childhood friends...

Fan 2: I'm speechless. This guy is such a hopeless romantic. Who said he was a womanizer? Oh, right. He did.

Fan 3: GD should count himself lucky to be with our little moon.

Fan 4: Wait, is this really a celebrity relationship scandal, or are they filming a romance drama? I'm about to become a shipper.

Before they got together:

Lee Gwan Wol had a kissing scene with her costar for her new film. When Kwon Ji Yong found out, he couldn't help going to the set.

It was Lee Gwan Wol's first kissing scene, but she wasn't the least bit nervous under everyone's gaze. Her emotions were just right, her expression flawless. At the director's "Action!" she kissed her costar, and even met Kwon Ji Yong's eyes during the scene. A hint of feeling stirred between them.

Kwon Ji Yong: !

His heart went into turmoil, and he accidentally made a noise, forcing them to reshoot.

Kwon Ji Yong: !!

After they got together:

Lee Gwan Wol went to the TV station to see Kwon Ji Yong.

A few minutes later, in an empty equipment room, Lee Gwan Wol's features were only faintly visible in the dim light. Outside, someone could be heard indistinctly searching for Kwon Ji Yong.

An ambiguous, thrilling atmosphere filled the cramped room, wrapping around them both.

She glanced back at Kwon Ji Yong, whose face was flushed and whose gaze was fiercely possessive, then smiled softly. "Did you hear that? Someone's calling for you. What are you going to do?"

His answer was a fierce kiss.
