The Yakuza Heiress Is Still Trying to Make Mochi Today

I, Sato En, returned home after dropping out of Totsuki Culinary Academy midway through my studies because my father passed away. Kneeling before his memorial, I swore to revitalize Sakurada-ya, a shop still seventy years short of its hundred-year anniversary. The moment my vow was made, a crowd of scarred middle-aged men with clubs tucked at their waists dropped to their knees outside, choking back tears as they cried in unison: "Please take over the family business, young mistress!" I slowly formed a question mark. Only then did I realize that the "century-old family legacy" my father left me came in two parts: One was the sweet shop Sakurada-ya, and the other was the yakuza organization Blade Cherry Society, which was on the verge of collapse. From then on, my daily life took a sudden turn: In the morning, I lectured my subordinates: "This month's goal is to develop a hit daifuku." In the afternoon, I broke up fights with bowls of red bean soup: "You two, have some soup before you start swinging. It'll get cold." The underlings were at each other's throats? They could try my new three-colored dango first. Negotiating with rivals? I presented a gift box of brown sugar warabi mochi, along with a business proposal. Later, they started coming by all the time, even asking if I could develop a low-sugar version. I looked at the [Totsuki Withdrawal Certificate] and [Family Crest] hanging side by side on the wall, and decided this approach might work. My only rule was simple: I would sell my sweets in peace. Anyone who got in the way would be the first to experience the weight of a century-old tradition. #SomethingSeemsOffAboutTheFamilyBusinessIInherited# #ButAnyoneWhoGetsInTheWayOfMySweetSalesIsTheRealEnemy# #IJustWantToSellSweetsAllOverTokyoAndMakeSureMyUnderlingsGetProperMeals# Publication Notice: This story will officially go paid on 2026.14.16. By the way, the preorder for the fox master's story is open too, but it's BL! "After Inheriting My Grandfather's Fox" As a miserable wage slave working for a heartless company, my life motto is: If I can lie down, I will never sit. At long last, I got a full day off and managed to merge completely with my mattress. Then someone pounded on the door. A devastatingly handsome man stood outside, holding a yellowed scroll and looking furious: "Open up! It's time for you to pay your grandfather's debt!" Me: "Huh?" He claimed to be a fox spirit, and said my grandfather had promised to support him for generations. I looked at his impossibly perfect face, the fluffy ears on his head, and the lazy tail swaying behind him. The wage-slave calculator in my head started clicking: If I feed and house him, can I legally keep an absolute beauty? ...What kind of deal is this?
