While on vacation at home, you played a highly flexible little game called "Creation Simulator."
In your first playthrough, you tore apart the heavens and earth as the Creator God Heng. As chaos gave way to order, you created everything: the sun, moon, and stars, the mountains and rivers, and all living things. You chose an ancient Eastern setting for the world, then hit the "Launch World" button. By then, it was three in the morning, and you were so exhausted that you promptly collapsed and fell asleep.
When you woke up again, you found yourself inside the game world. Two thousand eight hundred and thirty years had passed in the mortal realm.
It was a low-magic world, where good and evil went unrewarded and corruption ran rampant. At court, factions fought one another; in the wilderness, demons and ghosts roamed freely; and ordinary people in the streets died with their grievances unresolved... Your AI assistant warned you, "The world is on the verge of collapse."
You understood that you needed to improve the world's laws as soon as possible and restore order among mortals.
You decided to rebuild the Heavenly Court and the Underworld, along with the six paths of reincarnation.
And so...
An exorcist who put the public before himself and chose to die alongside demons to save the people of a city accumulated enough merit to ascend on the spot.
A kindhearted, innocent young girl, sacrificed to a river despite her good deeds, grew horns on her deathbed, transformed into a dragon, and flew away.
The game ended, and you prepared to start a new round.
In your second playthrough, you descended into the world as its sole creator... This time, you entered a Western fantasy world in the Middle Ages.
There may be other worlds, too.
