Cen An, a computer genius working at a top-secret digital technology research institute, worked himself to death after pushing himself too hard.

When he woke up, he discovered he had transmigrated two hundred years into the future, to a society with highly advanced technology. He had helped write the foundational programs behind three of the era's cutting-edge computer technologies.

Bad news: Those technologies have become illicit industries. One is antisocial, one is inhumane, and the last is called the watchdog of a corporate dynasty...

Cen An: Uh, am I a technological pioneer or the culprit?

In fact, Cen An starts out in prison. Before he can get used to this cyberpunk era, he's framed as a notorious international hacker. Along with a frame-up, a powerful force appears out of nowhere and sends him to the highest-security prison.

He takes beatings along the way, picks fights along the way, says what people want to hear, and lies to their faces, once again continuing the dramatic life he led a century ago: "I've got nothing to lose, so let's do this..."

The villain thinks this kid is actually pretty good.

Not only does he turn the prison upside down, he also steals the villain's underlings, flirts with his lover, beats up his boss, snatches his one true love, takes control of his hacker organization, and steals his money to support a man... Even more amusing, he's just as good at turning right into wrong and confusing truth with lies.

The Turing Investigation Bureau is responsible for overseeing super AIs and bionic people. It shouldn't be involved in judging humans, but Turing's chief investigator, Jiang Jin, keeps interfering. Thanks to his powerful family connections, no one dares to speak up, no matter how angry they are.

He's one of the chief officers responsible for arresting Cen An, and he puts him through hell.

Still, Cen An thinks this chief investigator is a little strange from the very start...

The first thing Cen An does after getting out of prison is crash the chief investigator's wedding. Everyone assumes it's revenge. He's kidnapped Jiang Jin, and sooner or later he'll tear him to pieces.

But when they're alone, Cen An hooks his little finger around Jiang Jin's. "Chief Investigator, I remember the day you sent me to prison. You hooked your finger around mine just like this. After that, I finally had something to hope for, something that helped me hang on to my life..."

Jiang Jin smiles without a word as he pilots their aircraft at full speed, the deep blue sea stretching below them.

This is the road to their life on the run.

Cen An spots the pale pink kiss mark on Jiang Jin's neck and feels great. Sure, life on the run is hard, but having a beautiful man along for the ride makes it pretty great.

1. Set in an alternate future with a cyberpunk society. The main technologies include super AIs, bionic people, augmented humans, mechanical armies, brain chips and brain-computer interfaces, genetic engineering, and other highly advanced technologies. Social institutions have collapsed, and large corporations control the lifeblood of the national economy, while political administration has faded into the background. All institutions of power in this story are fictional, with no real-world allegories.

2. The plot and romance get equal attention, with a bit of an ensemble cast and plenty of battle injuries.
