Content warning: The heroine is an original female ghost with a love-addled heart. The main plot is basically all about clearing away obstacles to sweet romance. This is a sweet love story with a thoroughly dark, damp vibe, written to indulge my own tastes.
Further warning: The heroine is a gloomy female ghost. Later on, she will stalk the male lead, with the core idea being, "I'll love you even after I'm dead."
Hanchuan Qianzhi has a boyfriend who loves her very much.
Even when an accident leaves Qianzhi in a vegetative state, even when she becomes a supernatural entity visible only to her boyfriend, he says it's no big deal. The young couple are still as sweet and inseparable as ever.
Even while caught up in sweet romance, Qianzhi has her own worries. Her boyfriend is a kind and ambitious rich kid from the nth generation, and as a teacher at the technical college, he cares deeply about his students. It's not jealousy, but Qianzhi can't shake a sense of foreboding. She feels that his ambition and sense of responsibility will destroy him, though the feeling itself is strange.
Maybe this eerie feeling is just because she wants to cling to her boyfriend so badly. What could possibly happen to the strongest boyfriend? She shouldn't scare herself.
Generous Qianzhi tries hard to convince herself not to be so petty. She should accept her boyfriend's ambition and not let a strange premonition hold him back. Watching him work so diligently, Qianzhi feels both worried for him and proud of him.
Was it a nightmare?
The strange, ill-omened premonition came true.
Qianzhi's boyfriend was put inside a strange box.
At last, Qianzhi's boyfriend got out of the box.
Qianzhi's boyfriend died in a strange way.
An uncanny force, like an invisible hand, recklessly toyed with her boyfriend's fate. So all that happiness had been meant as a sacrifice for someone else. In tears, Qianzhi accepted this cruel truth.
Qianzhi woke up. It was a medical miracle.
But the boyfriend who was supposed to share a love that transcended life and death with her was nowhere to be found.
Qianzhi thought that he and she would never break up.
There was a little problem now, but it didn't matter. This time, it was her turn to put in some effort for their relationship.
Qianzhi used up all her strength and finally returned to the story's beginning.
Even if she was the only one who still remembered their love, it didn't matter.
It was enough that he was alive.
They would build a beautiful love together again, she thought.
Qianzhi would never let go of Gojo again. Never.
P.S. The original idea actually dates back to 2023. I wrote several drafts in 2024, but none of them felt quite right. Then inspiration struck on January 5, 2025, and I settled on the female-ghost version.
Theme: We will never break up.
