Clearing the Fog After Marriage

This might not get written! Just leaving it here for now!

1. After the auction, Han Sitong casually chatted with a few young socialites, then nonchalantly sent a WeChat message to her husband, Miao Zhiyuan: "Lawyer Miao, I saw your ex-girlfriend Jiang Qianyu."

It wasn't long before Miao Zhiyuan replied with three words: "Is she pretty?"

Han Sitong cursed the old bastard under her breath and didn't say another word to him.

As she turned to leave early, she passed behind Jiang Qianyu and heard her talking on the phone in a familiar, sultry voice: "Miao Miao, would you be my divorce lawyer? I don't trust anyone else."

Han Sitong lowered her eyes and gave a faint, inscrutable smile, then took off the wedding ring on her left hand.

2. An assistant answered a call and hurried over. "President Han, um, it's your husband's phone."

Han Sitong picked up. "What is it?"

A woman's voice came from the other end. "Hello, are you this man's wife? He's had too much to drink. He's at a bar."

The bar was lively. Han Sitong found the drunk old man in a booth in the corner. His head rested against the back of the sofa, his feet were propped on the table, his shirt collar was open, and his eyes were shut.

He reeked of alcohol and cigarettes. There were plenty of bottles and cigarette butts on the table, but Miao Zhiyuan was alone in the booth. Most likely, he'd been out with friends, and the ones with wives and children had already left.

"Mr. Miao, time to go."

Han Sitong didn't hold back. She kicked him.

Miao Zhiyuan lifted his eyelids, his gaze fixed on Han Sitong's face. Suddenly, she couldn't tell whether he was drunk or not. He reached out to her. "Tongtong, help your husband up."

Han Sitong didn't help him. Instead, she picked up a half-full bottle and poured it over his face in circles. "Sober now? If you are, walk out on your own."
