Gift to Aphrodite

Yu Chixi and Wen Ziyu had been together for years and were about to marry when a car accident took Wen Ziyu's life. Yu Chixi began suffering from severe hallucinations. He mistakenly believed Wen Ziyu was still alive, but when the visions faded, all that remained was despair. He tried to drown himself in a river, but someone pulled him ashore. Only after completing the mission could he truly come back to life. Then the timeline could be fundamentally changed, and Wen Ziyu could return from the dead. After learning that he had been reborn, Wen Ziyu couldn't care less about the System's mission. He only wanted to see Yu Chixi. Then the System told him: Yu Chixi was the one who wanted to kill himself. In two hours, Yu Chixi would jump into the river and drown. The title comes from Sappho's poem “She Never Said a Word”: “If you forget me, remember the gifts we once offered Aphrodite.” A sad little sweet romance. Don't mind me. I say it's sweet, so it's sweet. An absolute sugary treat. Everything is subject to change when I actually start writing. Any changes are just to make the writing flow more smoothly and the plot easier to develop.
