[Korean Showbiz] A Good Start to My Career

I'm terrible at writing blurbs, so please go straight to the story if you don't mind.

Kim Hyun-soo felt that things were going wrong,

very wrong.

After the System dragged him thirty years into the past for a so-called "mission" with the warning "You die if you don't debut," Kim Soo-hyun opened his eyes and immediately started preparing to debut. To survive, he decided to do whatever it took.

"Just debut. Just debut, and it'll be fine."

At last, after more than ten years of hard work, Kim Hyun-soo was accepted by a company called YG in 2003, at the age of fourteen.

He was thrilled, absolutely thrilled... Every journey is hard at the start. Becoming a trainee meant he'd completed at least a third of his mission.

But one rainy night, he couldn't bear to see a scrawny, down-on-his-luck guy looking miserable in the rain, so he ran out and gave him a bowl of noodles. That landed him in a huge mess.

New Mission Target No. 1: [Kwon Ji-yong]

"..."

Watching more and more [Mission Targets] pop up alongside this guy, along with a new "affection meter" over their heads, and facing the System's ever-increasing demands, Kim Hyun-soo worked himself to the bone trying to earn their affection and silently shed tears.

So what if he got his heart broken... Can he take back the ramen?

The premise is that he's the sixth member to debut alongside the group. The story starts when he becomes a trainee. Extra chapters will be updated irregularly, and you can leave prompts in the comments.

[The following may hit some of your squicks! Please read carefully.]

· GD and JXX are both bisexual, and each has several different relationships.

· A considerable portion of the story takes place before their debut, while they're trainees, so the pacing is slow.

· There are no purely good characters. This is a story about ordinary people.

· He gets along very well with all five members of the group. As they grow up, some relationships change; I'll write about that when I get there. The member who left won't change, and the events won't change. No whitewashing: a jerk is a jerk, not a saint.

[Things forbidden in the comments under my story]

· Insulting the author

I love comments... They inspire me to write.

An impulsive project from someone with a serious procrastination problem. OOC, a muddled timeline, and an unusual perspective.
