After her former assistant left without a word, Ling Xiang decided to work hard and make something of herself. Though she was somewhat famous in the folk music scene, in the entertainment industry she was a nobody nobody cared about.
After a scandal, she signed a contract with the star agent at Zunyi Film and Media.
That was where Ling Xiang set her wheel of fate in motion.
But she also managed to offend someone: her boss, Li Chen, the president of Zunyi.
As the least successful subsidiary of the Li family's business group, Zunyi Film and Media had racked up huge losses over the years and even teetered on the brink of bankruptcy. Li Chen had been sent back from overseas to take over the mess at a critical moment.
Just as he was preparing to make his mark, he suddenly discovered that the star agent he trusted most had signed that arrogant, argumentative woman.
He couldn't help blowing up. "Can't you tell there's something wrong with her head? She's almost thirty. What does she have going for her? Did you sign her so she could become famous as a laughingstock?"
The agent smiled gently at his handsome boss and was about to explain when the office door suddenly banged open.
"No!" came an angry roar.
"I want to conquer the entertainment industry!"
