Wen Wanchao is the brightest new star in the music industry.

The first time he appears before the public is when he joins the show alongside his husband.
It takes Wen Wanchao just twenty-eight days to go from feeling nothing for him to falling hopelessly in love.
They visit the wreckage of a plane in Iceland.

In a dim room, they kiss. Wen Wanchao holds him by the waist, his voice unbearably hoarse:

After the show ends, Chen Shunxia announces that he and his adulterous husband divorced years ago.
The following month, he quietly dies of stomach cancer.
Two months later, on his way back from a cemetery outside the city, Wen Wanchao is in a car accident and dies unexpectedly.

Back then, he was still the unruly young heir of a wealthy family, and Chen Shunxia had yet to enter that ill-fated marriage.

Chen Shunxia emerges, surrounded by people, smiling and chatting.

Wen Wanchao remembers the night before the show ended, when they sat side by side in a field, watching a shooting star streak across the sky.
He made a heartfelt wish:
“Heavens.”
“Please let me meet him sooner in my next life.”
