The Little Book Cat Office on Arctic Ridge has a regular visitor. The owner, Little Book Cat, often calls her Dear Miss Bear.
"Miss Bear, your paintings are wonderful. Don't put yourself down. I really like them."
"Miss Bear, things haven't turned out the way you feared, have they? Don't be afraid."
"Dear Miss Bear, it's lovely out today. Don't stay cooped up in that dark room. Let's go for a walk."
Day after day, Little Book Cat and Miss Bear gradually become the very best of friends.
But one day, Miss Bear, who comes to visit Little Book Cat so often, doesn't show up for several days. Worried, Little Book Cat goes to look for her and finds several black-and-white drawings scattered outside the office corridor. Little Book Cat recognizes them at once: they're Miss Bear's work.
When colorful paintings turn black and desolate, and sensitivity and curiosity are crushed into self-doubt and despair, can Miss Bear rediscover her original curiosity and happiness? Can Little Book Cat save Miss Bear, whose heart has shut itself away?
Theme: Rediscover yourself and stay true to your heart.
