[FGO] What If I Put On Her Ring

"This is a story that's a little long for one person, and has a bit of romance in it."

You want to slip a ring onto the finger of someone you love.

A declaration, a claim, an expression of love.

You know he won't say yes, so you make your intentions even more obvious.

Or... maybe?

Fortunately, everything goes just as you hoped: time and again, he turns down your advances.

Darn it, now that you think about it, that's actually so sad!

You continue spending time together in a relationship that can barely even be called ambiguous, like all sorts of casual companions.

And so, each day passes in an uneventful routine.

1. Steady output year after year, as always. Merlin pairing.

2. A writing-rehab project. There's a high chance of out-of-character moments. Mostly first-person narration, just trying to get back into writing.

3. A somewhat stream-of-consciousness, everyday sweet treat. Quiet and ordinary, with a comforting feel.

4. I wanted to post this on my birthday, but sadly, I missed it again. (Shrugs.)
