The Possibility of Blasting the Jujutsu World Away With a Railgun

[The main story is complete, and I'm about to start writing side stories. Feel free to suggest which ones you'd like to see!] The strongest electric esper in Academy City, codenamed "Railgun." A girl, Level 5's Third Ranked, and a young lady standing at the very top of Academy City's hierarchy. Right now, she's staring blankly at a bunch of ugly things that seem to have appeared out of nowhere. -- Q: What's it like to have an unreliable guardian? -- Koto: Thanks for asking. My guardian dumped me in another world, I'm surrounded by ugly things, and now I've run into two high schoolers who look completely unreliable. Things are looking pretty bleak. To make sure she can settle down in this new world, she decides to head into town, get online, and gather some information. So Misaka Mikoto asks the two high schoolers to point her in the right direction. White-haired high schooler: I think you're pretty strong. Koto: ? (And?) White-haired high schooler: Come to Jujutsu High! Koto: ... (Sounds like it'll lower my academic standing. No thanks.) Her refusal is overruled, and after being strong-armed into it, Misaka Mikoto enrolls at Jujutsu High, proudly becoming a high school student. Koto: ...Is this an academic demotion or a promotion? (Silence, pondering) A heavy workload is fine, and a packed schedule is no problem, but low efficiency and virtually nonexistent technology are unacceptable. Having grown used to all kinds of cutting-edge tech in Academy City, she holds back again and again until she can't take it anymore. Finally, she rolls up her sleeves and leads a rebellion. Koto: Low efficiency and slow progress, huh? Then let me show you the wonders of technology. (Smiles) A few things to know before reading: 1. In this story, Misaka was raised by her "guardian," Yuan An. Her personality is quite different from the original manga, so think of her as a more or less normal Koto who grew up on the dark side of Academy City. 2. I'm a research slave, and research will be the death of me. Everything depends on my thesis progress, so feel free to save up chapters and read them later. (Ascends to heaven.jpg) 3. I write whatever comes to mind. Friendly discussion is welcome, but no personal attacks. 4. The Jujutsu Kaisen canon I reference only goes up to the Shibuya arc. Everything after that is too wild, and I feel like I've taken a ton of psychic damage, so I'm opting out. 5. Please leave lots of comments and chat with me. I'm begging you ovo Theme: Technology creates a better life.
