The leads in this story are the couple from one of my all-time favorite shoujo manga, My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999. That's right, I love it so much I can't bring myself to change the leads, because I'm completely obsessed with their ship. I've even written character essays about them. But the author's latest chapter after the hiatus gave me a vague sense of foreboding. Anyway, this story is a tribute to Yamada and Akane as they were before chapter 106, and it's full of the sweet moments I want to see between them. I once told a friend that everything before chapter 106 was the sweetest shoujo manga in my heart. But after the new chapter came out, I realized there were still things that left me feeling wistful. So this is purely a dream-fulfillment story for fans of the couple. If you haven't read it, I absolutely recommend it. The anime is great, and the manga is great up through chapter 106, with plenty of sweet moments. But it's okay to stop there.
