The Villain Doesn’t Want a Bad Ending

A dark, scheming villain x a kind, brave sweetheart

Their story began between late autumn and early winter.

When Ye Hansui was driven into a corner, Wen Muzhou saved her.

With just one glance, she knew the man before her was the legendary fiend who threatened the Three Realms, a master of malevolent energy capable of destroying heaven and earth...

Beneath the night sky, the man smiled with easy composure, but his smile was so cold it made her uneasy.

"Why... why did you save me?"

"Because, my dear, I've been thinking about you day and night."

Ye Hansui was dumbstruck... So this sinister fiend was actually such a flirt...

But fate had other plans. Because of a curse, Ye Hansui had no choice but to travel with this great villain.

On the road,

Ye Hansui, full of passion: "I'm going to find the Goddess!"

Wen Muzhou, smiling disdainfully: "What a coincidence. I'm going to kill the Goddess."

Ye Hansui, earnest and sincere: "My senior brother is incredible!"

Wen Muzhou, looking down on everyone: "Hmph. He's just a hotheaded fool."

Ye Hansui, confused: "What kind of place is the Forbidden Sea?"

Wen Muzhou, eyes full of mockery: "If you're tired of living, you can go there."

Ye Hansui was amazed. What kind of person was this?

But later, in the dead of night, the man who was always so arrogant and carefree woke from a nightmare, two tears slipping from the corners of his eyes. Ye Hansui was stunned. Could someone like him cry?

Later still, her senior brother caught up with them. This dashing young man, usually indifferent to everything, had started out roaring with anger, but gradually his voice turned pleading. He let go of all his pride, his eyes full of grief, helplessness, and pain. All his emotions came down to one sentence:

"Ye Hansui, could you please show me a little compassion?"

Much later, Wen Muzhou stood on the far shore of time, looking back:

"Because, my dear, I've been thinking about you day and night."

How could he have known then that the joke he tossed out at their first meeting would not be the cause of what followed, but the fruit of a fate from long ago?

In this world, a casual remark can become a prophecy.

Many people are trapped in its web of cause and effect, unable to break free.

(Sweet romance with plenty of melodrama, and lots of silly fun every day ^O^. Feel free to switch off your brain and enjoy. This is a new writer's first story, so the writing is a little immature. Please forgive my amateurish prose.)
