The Legend of Yunjin

Yun Jin was orphaned and alone from a young age, with no one to rely on. Her grandmother raised her with great hardship. She grew used to sitting up alone by lamplight, and used to searching every corner of Chang'an for the truth. But the pain of her grandmother's death was something she could never forget. One night, Yun Jin came like a sudden gust of wind, and flowers bloomed on their own among the trees. Unaware of it, she filled the world with smiles, as if the heavens had sent her countless stars to pierce the clouds. The guard Xing Yu, by holding fast to his convictions, made both their lives more steadfast and more colorful. The two were entangled by the circumstances of her grandmother's death, then reunited at the Jinyi Workshop. For the sake of his love for Yun Jin, the guard Xing Yu turned against all his relatives, while Yun Jin sought the truth in the imperial palace to avenge her grandmother. The road to uncovering the secrets is long. This is a tale of revenge that exposes an emperor's greed and depravity, an empress's ruthlessness, and concubines bullying those beneath them, turning the palace into a place of turmoil and the Cold Palace into a place of despair, before a storm of blood and vengeance engulfs the imperial court.
