This world is so boring. Sometimes, I think that.
On my way to work overtime, I see a pedestrian running a red light. Go on, then. You deserve to have a car come along and teach you a lesson. If you don't care about dying, then go die. I kick over the bottles of mineral water lined up by the roadside. Looking at the empty bottles sprawled beside the trash can, I feel a tiny bit guilty, thanks to my moral conscience, but that feeling is quickly smothered by the thrill of having done something bad.
Walking across the overpass, I think, If I jumped from here, it would all be over.
It's not that I have a reason I have to die. I just don't have a reason I have to live, either.
All in all, I hate the whole world equally: children, adults, the elderly, and myself.
This world is just so damn boring.
But then, I receive an email.
[Dear ██,
We invite you to participate in the [World Destruction Game]. You may enter the simulation system via the link below and design the method of destruction you desire. Once your design is successfully submitted, it will descend upon your world exactly as you envisioned it.
If you are interested in participating, please click the link to verify your identity before ██/██/██. After that date, your spot will be offered to the next candidate.
We will be inviting a total of 16 players to join us in this grand gaming feast. We welcome you to join us and destroy this boring world together!]
[Highlights]
1. Please repeat after me: The purpose of this story is to destroy the world. There is no possibility of saving it.
2. There will be MBTI elements, but the characters' personalities have nothing to do with MBTI. Receiving a certain ability does not mean a character has the corresponding MBTI personality type.
3. The first chapter is in first person, and the rest is in third person.
