When Lin Jiayi saw that his savings were down to a three-digit balance, he decided to confront Ji Xuan!
Lin Jiayi stood before Ji Xuan with his hands on his hips and declared, "When are you going to pay me back for your living expenses? Speak!"
Ji Xuan said, "I don't have money. I only have this fox." Then he silently swished his tail in front of Lin Jiayi.
Watching Lin Jiayi's eyes light up as he rushed over with an "Awoo!" and hugged his tail, looking utterly blissful, Ji Xuan silently curled up the corners of his mouth.
So cute.
Bonus scene:
Lin Jiayi celebrated his birthday at home. Since he didn't have to work the next day, he drank a little more than usual. His head spinning, Lin Jiayi suddenly sat down on the floor and cried and fussed like a child, insisting that he had to sleep while hugging Ji Xuan's tail.
Ji Xuan pursed his lips and refused.
What a joke! Ever since he'd gradually learned to control his tail, the first thing this guy did when he got home from work every day was touch it. It was practically going bald! If word got back to Spirit Mountain, where would that leave his dignity?
