(The ending is a 1v2, with Draco Malfoy and Blaise Zabini as the final male leads. The character card only lets me list one, so I chose Draco, who has more scenes, but both are male leads.)
Blurb:
The first time Sirius Black saw his daughter, she was wearing a princess dress and was incredibly beautiful, the very image of a young lady groomed by a pure-blood family.
The second time Sirius saw his daughter, she was wearing a black school uniform, looking proud and aloof, completely out of place among the boisterous children.
They didn't look alike at all!
She looked like Regulus, like Narcissa, even like that madwoman Bellatrix. Anyone but him.
Later, Sirius noticed all kinds of bad boys eyeing her hungrily and starting to show up around her.
Day one: "That damn Malfoy idiot!"
Day two: "That damn fake-sweet Nott!"
Day three: "That damn poser... Fine, this one's not so bad. At least he can make Kather laugh."
Day four: "That damn... Oh, wait, good eye, sweet little Harry."
Day n: "What, Crouch? You're that old and you're still eyeing my daughter?!"
It was only later that Sirius learned they were just alike.
Just as obsessive, just as mad,
And just as willing to do anything for the person they loved.
No one would ever forget Kather Black back when she was still a student at Hogwarts.
She stood at the end of a rain-soaked staircase. Behind her rose the ancient stone walls of a castle steeped in a thousand years of history, while above her hung a huge, gentle, sorrowful moon. In the moonlight, her figure was elegant and slender, her seaweed-black hair fluttering in the wind like a free bird.
Only she knew that she had long been trapped in a cage. Her world was utterly dark.
This is the story of a Black raised in the Malfoy family, focusing mainly on Kather Black's growth: her love and hatred, desires blossoming in despair, and salvation and embraces in the darkness.
A few things to know before reading:
1. Stream of consciousness, flowery and sentimental prose, Chinese references, youth angst, groveling exes, and forced possession warnings.
2. Leans toward an everyone-loves-her dynamic, with both men and women, and plenty of unrequited feelings. Happy ending. Bonus stories to be decided.
3. Next generation, starting in third year. Kather is unquestionably the main character, and the story focuses on her growth, with romance and family storylines woven in.
4. The first three volumes are in first person, and volumes four and five are in third person.
5. The heroine has a stunning, delicate beauty. She's neither a villainess nor a good person by conventional standards. She's romantically fickle and unfaithful, and aside from being extraordinarily beautiful, she has no golden finger.
6. There are love interests who are related to the heroine by blood, as well as love interests more than ten years older than her.
7. Equal parts sweet and angsty. This isn't a power fantasy, and not everyone can be saved. The later story gets darker, with a particularly brutal and bleak period after the war begins.
8. Blaise has dark skin, but is not Black, and has no real-life appearance reference. Barty Crouch Jr.'s appearance is based entirely on David Tennant's portrayal in the films.
Please keep all of the above in mind before reading.
I'm a fan of the original books, not a stickler for canon details, and I'm doing my best to keep this close to the original tone... Please don't set your expectations too high, haha. My writing is limited, and I can't please everyone. If you don't like it, feel free to leave without telling me, mwah. I don't accept criticism or writing advice.
I'll add scenes for each male lead based on your comments, and I'll post bonus stories for them from time to time.
Written for love.
Meeting here is fate, and I'm so happy you came to read!
I look forward to your comments. For a free story, nothing makes me happier than lots of comments. I'll read all your feedback. Love you all.
Theme: We'll all grow into better versions of ourselves
Draco is shining at this moment. He is proud and faces death in his own way. Even if Malfoy dies, he must hold his head high. He will die for his family, his faith, his family and friends, and for the thousands of ordinary people who have been driven to death by time, blood and darkness. At this moment, there is not an empty space behind him. Behind him are those warriors who also sacrificed their lives for their faith and fighting.
I hope Cather will be happy every day from now on, and I'm asking for Barty's extra story.
It was so sad that Sirius was not there every time Cather needed him. After accumulating so much disappointment, Cather finally let herself go and chose to forget the sadness. Perhaps this was the best choice.
Little Barty will be happy in his next life 😭
Alas, I hope there will be an ending with him in the extra chapter
When will the extra chapter be updated? I can't wait to watch it.
There is a big reversal, right? There is a reversal!!!! 😭 💔 [Melt] It makes me heartbroken 🥺
Are you forgetting all the painful memories, baby Kaiser?
I hope there will be a side story TT about Barty Jr.
Seeing that there is no extra story, my heart breaks even more 😭 😭 😭 Barty Crouch Jr. Must be happy in his next life, okay 😣
