After Can Can's identity is exposed.

Can Can (thinking at lightning speed): "Listen, let me cover it up. Oh, no, I mean, let me explain."

Prince Qi (a glimmer of hope): "I knew you didn't leave me on purpose."

Can Can (a little awkward, but with no sense of being a heartless woman): "Actually, I don't want either of you."

She shut her eyes in despair. Either way, death was hard to escape. At least, if she sacrificed herself, she could save her whole family.

So, under the man's unreadable gaze, she let him pull open the collar of the clothing she kept hidden from public view.

The hero's perspective:

When Xie Yunzuo was young, he once saved a girl. But in the end, that girl caused his mother to die.

He had resented her, hated her!

But after years of fighting on the battlefield, he finally understood that the girl had helped him back then.

On the day he returned to the capital, he saw the person who had kept him tossing and turning, sleepless night after night. Yet she looked at him with such coldness.

His heart turned cold. He knew she belonged to the Shen family, so they were destined to stand on opposite sides.
