One day, while forging swords at a certain Honmaru, the Saniwa found an unfamiliar sword among the results. Konnosuke hadn't received any notice about a new sword, and this one didn't even have a scabbard...
"I'm Ruoshui, one of the many Xuanyuan Swords. I can control water and clear every obstacle in your path..."
Afterward, the Saniwa took her back to the present day. This sweet, gentle girl was a perfect match for him, and besides, the Time Government had no authority over her.
He just couldn't let her go out alone. She wasn't very good at reading maps, or in plain terms, she was a bit of a directionless wanderer. Once she got familiar with the place, she flew around looking for her way much less often. Most importantly, she was so kindhearted that people could easily lead her astray... though there wasn't much to worry about, since she would come back on her own.
Like a country cat left to roam freely, she went around helping one household get rid of its "cockroaches" and another catch its "mice."
Until one day, two women who looked alike but had very different personalities knocked on the door to this world, and the doll set out on the true path home.
Note: Ruoshui's personality is closer to the one in Doll Academy. In the game, Ruoshui seems gentle but also rather aloof. In Doll Academy she feels gentler and more natural, a bit absent-minded, though that may be due to the game's own nature. And she's the strong-willed young heroine Ruoshui!! (A loyal soldier's voice, )
Also! The worldbuilding in this story is as chaotic as it gets!
Touken Ranbu is just the starting point, and there won't be much of it. The timeline is jumbled, there's not much of a main plot, and it's a cheerful little slice-of-life story. It may be a bit out of character.
